In the 1990’s Karina Hayes was the lead vocalist and performer for internationally acclaimed avante guard band SPK.  She toured the world made many appearances on television and film and spent much of her time in Los Angeles writing and recording.

Karina returned to her hometown in Sydney Australia to continue honing her skills and ran successful ventures in the Sydney Club scene.  Immigration to the United States beckoned and in 1995 she moved to California to pursue music and study of aromatic plant medicines, flower remedies and plant extracts. Karina obtained a licence in massage therapy specializing in internal organ chi massage along with other modalities of wellness.

In 2002 she created her own wellness spa in Malibu and hosted retreats in Alaska, New Mexico and in the California high desert utilizing her knowledge and creating her own live products and perfumes that are good for the body and mind. This was a life changing time for both Karina and her then, very young son. It was her dream to create a workplace where her child could play happily in a gorgeous natural environment within eyes and arms reach. Days of warm California sun and sunny smiles.

Currently,  Karina creates packages for corporate wellness and has worked in the advertising and branding, legal (law firms) and banking industries.   

She feels this is where wellness can be become a part of everyday life.  If we spend so much time in the office and at work, then why not receive services there?.   "Productivity increases, people have better demeanor and attitudes towards others and their work.  15 minutes of meditation creates hours of extra energy, focus and best of all more, kindness and a readiness to deal with pressure", she says.

On the side she continues to write music for placement in film and television and is excited by the new marketing and media giving autonomy and freedom to her ventures.  "As Jung said it is by self actualizing by doing the things we love that we come into our own"

Her non profit work for Katog Tingzin Ling, Miami is of utmost importance in the fulfillment of her aspirations.
